Non-Ferrous Scrap Processing
At Pyral AG as at other waste or scrap processing facilities / recyclers there tends to be a fraction of “mix-metal” consisting of various non-ferrous metals. Traditionally, this “mix-metal” could be separated into “light” (aluminium and magnesium) and “heavy” (copper, brass, zinc, etc.) fractions using the old sink-float method. The heavy fraction is than exported for below market value and separated by hand. For producers, this means that valuable resources are lost and must be repurchased in expensive high-end products.
Pyral AG has developed, for the scrap world revolutionary, a non-ferrous metal sorting system which is able to identify any metal type (including, if necessary, the allow type). This unique and automated process can identify an infinite number of unique metal types and extends the vertical value offer of Pyral AG to its customers dramatically.
